When are the times you feel most alive?
You responded, "pizza". No qualifiers, no adjectives, no emotion, no thought; it's not even a sentence fragment. Is there something being revealed by defaulting to such a ubiquitous answer? When we default to something bland as an answer to a meaningful question we are simply deflecting an honest interaction. When are the times you feel most alive? How about when you choose to think broadly about your experience as a human, when you consciously examine the attention you give to people, things or places around you? Perhaps, you feel alive when people have your undivided attention and they have yours. I feel the most alive, when I experience moments that feel the most unreal, moments of hysterical joy where I have no recollection hence. The times outside of a time illicit life.
